"This is coming to a head and thats a good thing. I'm sure Williams also wants to focus on a school and help them recruit. If UK doesn't get a solid recommitment today I suspect we may get another QB commitment this weekend. (or I hope this is the scenario)"

"Cal isn't going to be left holding the bag. Even after that Spring 2015 strike-out - which happened because Cal got held hostage by Zimmerman and Newman among others (both of whom by the way, made HUGE mistakes by not going to UK) Cal rolled out a good enough contingency plan to field a competitive team.
Like the 2013 class though, I think 2015 was a learning experience for Cal. I think we're good for next year, regardless what happens with Bamba, Diallo, etc - Cal has it covered."

"A good majority of freshmen struggle in their first year with the cupcake classes. Mostly due to accountability. Cal holds them accountable and they live up to the expectation they will go to class and get the necessary grades."

"I think Diallo playing in the 5 on 5 is more indicative of a return. Greater chance to expose your weaknesses in front of numerous scouts and therefore you become less of a mystery as a prospect.
Monk is a projected top 7 pick on average and he's skipping the combine. Mitchell skipping it seems to me is leaning towards staying in the draft. (He should)."

"Agreed, BUT...Cal has this great way of getting his jabs in while smiling and laughing that gets his point across in sort of a jovial way. Remember how he gave Bilas hell on national TV about how he had been talking Duke up as a #1 seed all day? He stuck his finger in his mouth pretending to choke...then laughed and made it funny.
You better believe he got his point across. I dig that!"
