LEXINGTON, Ky. — After another 3-1 week for Kentucky baseball, the Wildcats once against moved up in the national rankings. D1baseball.com moved Kentucky to No. 4 in the top 25 and No. 4 in the national projection.

Baseball America thinks slightly higher of Kentucky, placing the Wildcats at No. 3 in national seed projections. Indiana—which Kentucky plays on May 9—is the No. 2 seed in the projected region. Connecticut and Northeastern are the other two schools in the projection.

The Wildcats (31-14) are in good shape for a national seed considering they're in the top five in national rankings, RPI and strength of schedule. Going into this weekend's series with Georgia, Kentucky is tied for first overall in the SEC with Auburn and Mississippi State. Florida, Texas A&M, Arkansas and LSU are all a game back of first place.
