Kentucky head coach John Calipari was approached by TMZ early this week and the entertainment media giant had one major question for him.

"What do you think about LaVar Ball?"

No one has been more of a lightning world in the sports media world lately than the father of Lonzo Ball, who has personally injected himself into the public conversation about his son to an enormous, and some would say unhelpful, degree.

From impacting his son's chances at sponsorships with Nike, Under Armour and adidas to proclamations comparing him favorably to Steph Curry, Ball's father has raised eyebrows and probably blood pressure.

Calipari had a chance to address the LaVar Ball issue and he took a diplomatic approach.
