Would Calipari want to coach a Super Team of former UK players in the NBA?
Football recruiting notes, Darius Garland and Rajon Rondo in New Orleans talk, too.
SHOULD UK WORRY?
Kentucky had its own Friday Night Lights Camp just more than a week ago, but Ohio State had theirs last night.
There were two big recruiting notes relevant to Kentucky coming out of that camp in Columbus, and they relate to the status of uncommitted Rivals100 athlete Blue Smithand four-star Kentucky commitment Marquan McCall. Both players were in Columbus.

CALIPARI ON A UK SUPER TEAM
Kentucky coach John Calipari tells TMZ.com that he'd love to see an NBA Super Team of former Wildcat players materialize, but that he'd never coach it.
FINAL SIX
Five-star point guard Darius Garland announced on Twitter his final six schools in his recruitment.
The Nashville recruit included the hometown Commodores, but also five other blueblood programs, including the Cats.
NEXT LEVEL
Over a two-day span next month, four-time NBA All-Star Anthony Davis will host a basketball camp for kids as young as 7, helping them learn as much as possible about their favorite sport. In addition to picking up helpful pointers directly from Davis, children attending the Aug. 7-8 camp might also benefit from watching video clips of another four-time All-Star – Davis’ brand-new teammate, point guard Rajon Rondo.
“He’s very smart,” Davis described Friday of the three-time NBA assists leader. “He knows when to get guys involved, when to get guys shots. He reads defenses very well. His basketball IQ is definitely at another level. Some of the things he does, you can’t teach. He does a great job of knowing when to pass, when to take a shot, when to throw a pocket pass on a pick-and-roll, how to hold off defenders. I’m just glad we can add him to our team.”

NEW AGE NASH

In light of the move, veteran forward Jared Dudley voiced major praise toward Wall by comparing him to one of his most notable former teammates.
