"There are two questions facing Snell: 1. What, if any, effect will losing Toth have on the UK offensive line? 2. What, if any, effect did Boom Williams have on the success of Snell?

If the offensive line play is as good or better then Snell should be pretty darn good. Next, you have to consider whether having Williams helped or hurt him. Williams was a home run threat that played the first part of many games and Snell came in as the fresh back and mowed down some tired teams. Not trying to discredit what he did, but that was often how it played out. So, how will he do for the entire game? Logically you'd think he'd do better because he gets more touches, but he might also not be as effective running against defenses that are fresh. Having some backups to help keep Snell fresh will also be pretty key."

"Hmm... "Big Dog Vince Marrows Kroger Field" yes, yes that will suffice"

"I guess this is why Cal is paid the big bucks. If Knox goes elsewhere, if I were Johnson, I wouldn't want to go to UK as the backup plan just b/c they didn't get the guy they wanted. Obviously I don't have inside knowledge of the situation and how Cal is selling and/or stalling a commitment while he waits for Knox."

"Cal is the master at saying things the right way though. My guess is he told him he wanted him regardless, but encouraged him to take his time to see how things shook out with recruits & kids entering the draft. Made it sound like it was for his benefit, which of course it is."

"Bama has exactly 1 player from OH on their roster - The WR Kief that we recruited and he chose Bama over us. 4-star, will be a junior this fall and he has barely played. They may like a couple OH guys each year, but obviously they don't take or offer many OH guys."
