The University of Kentucky's newest crop of football recruits has been making its way to campus.
UK coach Joker Phillips said in an interview last week with CatsIllustrated.com that the Cats would be adding 24 new players on campus from the dates of June 5 to June 21.

UK's eight-week summer school session begins Thursday. A six-week session begins on June 21.
The team will also participate in offseason conditioning in preparation for preseason camp starting on Aug. 1
Since last Friday and before their arrivals at UK, several Class of 2012 Kentucky signees responded to CatsIllustrated.com by text message, social media or over the phone to describe their plans.
**Marietta, Ga., safety Zack Blaylock texted that he and his twin, safety/linebacker Daron Blaylock, would move on Tuesday and be attending summer school. They also will be roommates.
**Stone Mountain, Ga., cornerback Shawn Blaylock (no relation to Daron and Zack) said he planned to be at UK by the end of next week and expected to be roommates with Stephenson High School teammate DeMarcus Sweat, a wide receiver.
**UK's in-state defensive line signees - Louisville Manual's Thomas Chapman (video feature above) and Central Hardin's Patrick Graffree (video feature below) - both planned to be in Lexington by Monday and be roommates.
**Mason County safety/linebacker Josh Harris texted on Friday that he'd be arriving at UK on Tuesday.
**Tennessee punter Landon Foster was also en route to Lexington on Monday.
**Prattville, Ala., quarterback/multipositional athlete Jalen Whitlow texted on Friday that he would be moving to Lexington Tuesday. He planned to be roommates with Foster.
Whitlow, who committed to UK the week of national signing day without having seen the campus, took his official visit to Lexington the weekend of the Blue/White spring game.
**Florida wide receiver A.J. Legree said he'd be arriving at UK later this week, possibly Friday, and expected to have Florida linebacker Kadeem Thomas as a roommate.
**Middletown, Ohio, cornerback Cody Quinn texted that he moved to Lexington on Tuesday and was rooming with Powell, Tenn., running back Dyshawn Mobley.
**Georgia linebacker Khalid Henderson texted last Friday that he would be moving to UK on Saturday. He said he would be rooming with another Georgian, running back Justin Taylor. Both players committed to UK on national signing day.
**Fort Thomas Highlands quarterback Patrick Towles, Kentucky's Mr. Football (Video feature below), said he planned to move to Lexington on Tuesday and would be roommates with Indianapolis cornerback Jonathan Reed (video feature below).
Reed said he would not be at UK until next week because he doesn't graduate from Pike High School until Thursday.
**Two other Indiana signees - offensive lineman Jon Toth and defensive end Langston Newton - each said he would be moving to Lexington on Tuesday and rooming with the other.
Newton, who over the weekend won state track and field titles in the shot put and discus, planned to be back in Indiana on Friday to participate in all-star track meet with athletes from Indiana, Ohio and Michigan.
**Ohio offensive lineman Zach Myers texted on Friday that he planned to move to Lexington on Tuesday for summer school and would be roommates with Georgia offensive lineman Jordan Watson.
Watson posted on his Facebook page Tuesday morning that he'd left his hometown and was bound for Kentucky.
**Florida offensive lineman Jordan Swindle moved to Lexington on Monday and expected to be roommates with South Carolina offensive lineman T.J. Jones, whom he thought was scheduled to arrive on June 18.
**Georgia defensive back Fred Tiller texted that he plans to be at UK by June 18.
He wrote that his goals once he arrives in college are "to graduate and help the team win a national championship."
**Paducah Tilghman wide receiver J.D. Harmon, who plans to walk on for UK this fall, then go on scholarship in January, said he'll leave for Lexington on Thursday and work out with the team this summer. He'll stay with an aunt in Lexington or with friends on the team and said he might take one summer school class.
**Towles' Highlands teammate, wide receiver Austin Sheehan, another preferred walk-on, was moving to Lexington on Tuesday.
**Two UK signees - junior-college transfer safety Kory Brown and prep school safety Sterling Wright - have been on campus for a while.
Brown enrolled in January and participated in spring practice. Wright enrolled in May.
Ross to junior college
Jeffersontown defensive lineman Daniel Ross, who verbally committed to Kentucky last summer but did not sign with UK in February, was expected to move last Friday to begin summer school at Northeast Mississippi Community College, J'town athletic director/former football coach Gary Weiter said last week.
Northeast Mississippi CC was a school recommended to Ross by UK, Weiter said, and UK defensive line coach David Turner had been through J'town this spring to check on Ross, who planned to play football at Northeast Mississippi this fall.
