"Imo it means he is staying in the draft. Every move he has made it's because he wants to get to the league as quick as possible. He came to Kentucky mid-season to help him get to the NBA. He declined to play for UK in the championship run to help him get to the NBA. He decided to test the waters to help himself get to the NBA. Now he declines to play 5 on 5 to help himself get to the NBA. It cannot be any more obvious to me. If he was there just to help himself for next year and to get acclimated to the process he would be playing five on five. I think he has gotten some feedback to where he feels pretty sure he will be drafted in the first round."

"He's a multi-year PG who will have some flat out amazing games (20 & 10) and some rough games where he's pitching the ball around everywhere and Alexander ends up getting some minutes with the ball in his hands. I'm prepared to live with that but there are going to be some nights where this board goes in to full meltdown mode. Just be ready for it."

"I think it depends on Diallo and Johnson.
If Diallo stays in the draft and we miss on johnson then yes, he will play the two. It's crazy to think how long and athletic we will be next year. Maybe the longest team Cal has had."

"I've been told that Johnson is now unlikely to come to UK. All along it was him or Knox. Johnson's appeal was to be the scorer that Knox will now be. Johnson really wanted UK but as I've always said UK wanted Knox more and were willing to wait on him. Not going to count out Johnson as of yet but he is going to "weigh" other options."
