The 6-foot-3, 215-pound Lawrenceville (Ga.) Central Gwinnett quarterback participated in the Elite 11 regionals in North Carolina on Sunday, earning his spot in California for later this year.

Trevor Lawrence and Emory Jones were also selected for the finals from the event.

That makes 16 quarterbacks from the 2018 class who have been selected for the Elite 11 finals.

The other quarterbacks from the 2018 class who had already been selected for the 2017 Elite 11 going into Sunday: Tanner McKee (California), Jack Tuttle (California), Justin Fields (Georgia), Dorian Thompson-Robinson (Nevada), Justin Rogers (Louisiana), Jack West (Alabama), Matthew Corral (California), Joe Milton (Florida), Cammon Cooper (Utah), Colson Yankoff (Idaho), Quincy Patterson (Illinois), Jacob Sirmon (Washington) and Devin Leary (New Jersey).

The last Kentucky commitment at quarterback to participate in the Elite 11 Finals was Drew Barker, a four-star prospect from the 2014 class, although former UK commit Mac Jones was still a Kentucky target when he participated last year.

Los Angeles, Calif., is where the Elite 11 Finals will take place from June 2-4.

As the event's website notes, 10 of the last 11 players who have won the Heisman Trophy have participated in the Elite 11 Finals or a Regional.
