"A couple of observations: 1. It takes a lot of guts to be willing to subject oneself to a documentary like that. I dare say there's not many of us who would want a TV documentary to be written and viewed about our life - the good and the bad. Says a lot of Cal to be willing to do this.
"2. I find it ironic and providential to see Cal - the epitome of the me against the world - become the coach of Kentucky - the epitome of the program against the world. There's a tension in that which is simultaneously exhilarating and maddening."

"Sorry- but this is absolute recruiting fodder.
This kid is a super talent and should have been an easy top 10, and with some push top 5 pick.
I realize everyone's path is different, ie Poythress, Lamb, Jones- and am happy for the Spartan fan base/cbball fan base- but this feels like mismanaged talent to me. I'm a huge Izzo fan to boot, but I'd like to note that this deserves some just scrutiny."

"Bamba sure as heck wouldn't have been scared off by Humphries, but the coaches may have told Hump or hinted to him that we'd be getting Bamba.
Hump then realized he wouldn't play in front of him, so decided to bolt. It's possible that there is a connection. Not likely, but possible."
