LaVar Ball just can't stay out of the spotlight and that seems to be just how he loves it. Now, it seems that fate has conspired to bring De'Aaron Fox into the Ball family's Kardashian-styled drama, perhaps permanently.

According to Ali Thanawalla of NBCSports.com, on a recent appearance on Fox Sports Radio the elder, controversial Ball ripped former Kentucky guard De'Aaron Fox.

The context was all the talk about his son, Lonzo, missing the much-anticipated summer league meeting between the two players. Ball sat out that game due to an injury, but for a lot of national commentators the timing of the injury, just before a rematch with Fox, who had scored 39 points against Ball in an NCAA Tournament win, was too coincidental.

And that led to the charge, repeated by many, that Ball was "ducking" Fox.

Ball's father doesn't want to hear any of that, and while defending his son, as he so often happily does, he couldn't resist the opportunity to throw a little shade at Fox.

"Duck De'Aaron Fox? Have you heard about De'Aaron Fox? Hell nah. You can't hear about him unless he puts my boy's name in his mouth. He been doing all this stuff and ain't nobody been talking about him. So he and his dad gotta link themselves to us to be relevant. De'Aaron Fox had a whole season and the only thing they talk about is 39 points against Zo. You don't put Zo in a sentence, nobody cares about him," LaVar said on Sunday."
