Kentucky landed another Class of 2018 football commitment on Thursday night when junior college defensive back Domonique Williams announced his commitment to the program via Twitter.
Domonique Williams is a 5-foot-11, 185-pound defensive back at Highland Community College in Kansas, and he committed to Kentucky over Iowa State and Colorado State on Thursday night.
CatsIllustrated.com first reported Williams was a Kentucky target when he was spotted talking to assistant coaches in Lexington during registration before the start of a morning camp.
The physical defensive back has the look of an SEC defensive back, and he had drawn serious attention from the coaches at Alabama when he visited Tuscaloosa and camped with the Tide over the week prior to his Kentucky visit.
Williams attended high school in Knoxville, Tenn., as a Class of 2016 prospect. He signed with Eastern Kentucky but greyshirted and detoured to Highland.
He has three years to play two seasons of college football, which means he is eligible for a redshirt.
Williams will be an early enrollee at Kentucky.
