On Monday afternoon multiple sources confirmed that wide receiver Jabari Greenwood has the intention of transferring out of Kentucky's football program.

One source told CatsIllustrated.com that Greenwood may try to transfer to a school closer to his home.

The 6-foot-3, 195-pound Washington D.C. native attended Gonzaga High School and was a three-star recruit from the Class of 2015.

Greenwood redshirted in 2015 and did not have any receptions in his 2016 redshirt freshman season.

The talented prospect turned Wildcat was on the White team in the Blue-White Game so he probably wasn't in line to be near the top of the rotation in 2017.

Sources have said that Greenwood has begun the process of taking the necessary steps to gain his release from Kentucky.

The Wildcats landed a big haul of wide receivers in the Class of 2017 and already have three verbal commitments from receivers in the 2018 class.
