Quarterback Andre Woodson's career has now moved from making a decision about which Kentucky wide receiver should receive the ball to which professional sports agent to which he should entrust his future.

On Thursday, Woodson chose Blue Equity, a Louisville-based company spearheaded by chairman and managing director Jonathan Blue.
"We are extremely excited to have the opportunity to guide Andre's NFL career," said Joel Segal, president of Blue Equity's football division. "Andre' is an extremely high character individual and his impressive college career speaks for itself."
Blue Equity's football division boasts a roster of players that includes Heisman Trophy winner Reggie Bush, quarterbacks Jason Campbell and Tarvaris Jackson, wide receiver Marques Colston, Pro Bowlers DeAngelo Hall, Muhsin Muhammad and Darren Sharper among many others.
"Blue Equity appealed to me because of its local roots and proven track record with top rated quarterbacks," Woodson said. "I am working hard preparing for the draft and anticipate a great showing for the scouts."
Woodson is set to leave Lexington on Saturday to begin training for his NFL future. Most early mock drafts rate Woodson in the No. 10 to 15 pick range, with more than one website predicting him to be drafted by the Chicago Bears at No. 12.
Woodson's signing comes just two days after he capped his Kentucky career by leading the Cats to a 35-28 victory over Florida State in the Music City Bowl. It marked back-to-back Music City titles for UK and back-to-back bowl MVP honors for Woodson, who had four touchdown passes in the win.
In 2007, the quarterback threw 40 touchdown passes to break the single season record for UK and the SEC.
By signing with Blue Equity, Woodson joins a company comprised of SFX Worldwide, Worldwide Football, Blackwave Sports, Team Championships International (TCI), Game Seven Sports Marketing and Humarks.
Beyond football, Blue Equity's other sports clients include NBA All-Star Rasheed Wallace, 2007 NBA Lottery picks Joakim Noah and Corey Brewer, Australian, French and U.S. Open Champion Justine Henin, U.S. Open Champion Andy Roddick, Minnesota basketball coach Tubby Smith and Louisville football coach Steve Kragthorpe.
