Our weekly high school football preview rolls into week six.
Linebacker/defensive end Jaylin Bannerman and Pickerington North (3-2) host hometown rival Pickerington Central (Ohio) on Friday.
New Market (Ala.) Buckhorn and defensive tackle Ja'Quize Cross are on the road against undefeated Madison (Ala.) Bob Jones (5-0) on Friday.
Kentucky head coach Mark Stoops and defensive coordinator D.J. Eliot plan to take a helicopter to see United States Army All American Linebacker Kash Daniel on Thursday night. Paintsville is 6-0 this season and take on Pike Central this week.
Sylvania Northview (Ohio) and offensive lineman Luke Fortner host Bowling Green on Friday night. Northview is 3-2 while Bowling Green is 4-1.
After crushing Miamisburg 49-14 last week, Tobias Gilliam and Huber Heights (Ohio) Wayne put their undefeated record on the line when they travel to Springfield on Friday.
Three-star cornerback Jordan Griffin and Jonesboro, Ga., are on the road against Griffin (Ga.) Spalding this week. Jonesboro is 5-1 this season.
Dublin Coffman (Ohio) and three-star quarterback Gunnar Hoak snapped a three-game losing streak by crushing Marysville 56-7 last week. This week the Shamrocks (3-3) take on Thomas Worthington.
Three-star wide receiver Dakota Holtzclaw and Worthington Kilbourne are 5-0 going into Friday's game against Big Walnut (3-4).
