It's shaping up to be a big-time class for Kentucky. Kash Daniel is the latest commitment for the Wildcats.

The Paintsville, Ky., linebacker once seemed bound for a Group of Five school but an outstanding Rivals Camp performance catapulted him to new heights in the recruiting world.
That meant an offer from Kentucky. The offers from South Carolina, Louisville and others.
After changing his decision timetable a couple of times, taking several visits, and seeing his name circulate in countless headlines, Daniel made his choice.
He picked Kentucky on Saturday, ending the speculation about where he will end up. Daniel's commitment was live streamed online.
"It's been really, just a truly big blessing to be able to further my education and football career at the highest level," Daniel said during his announcement, "and I just can't wait to play football my senior year and get to Lexington and hopefully help the Cats win an SEC championship."
Previously he had told Cats Illustrated that he had a good bond with the coaching staff, and his most recent visit to Kentucky went well. The one sticking point, at least relative to Kentucky, was Daniel's desire to major in criminal justice, something the University of Kentucky does not offer.
The coaches and academic personnel at the school made the case that Daniel could minor in criminology and major in something else, which would amount to a path that many other students have chosen and one that has led to government jobs. Daniel was obviously satisfied at least to the extent that he was willing to pick Kentucky.
Daniel has gotten to know several of Kentucky's players and commitments over the course of his recruitment and that did not hurt the Wildcats' chances either.
The high three-star linebacker is scheduled to grant Cats Illustrated an exclusive interview in the near future so stay tuned for much more on commitment No. 19 for Kentucky.
