NFL Draft ends with no UK selections

LEXINGTON, Ky. — At best, only two Kentucky players were going to be drafted in the NFL Draft. As it turned out, neither center Jon Toth or running back Boom Williams were selected in the 2017 NFL Draft.

Most mock drafts had Toth as a draft pick, with the range being anywhere from the third to seventh round. Toth, surprisingly, went undrafted. Five other centers were selected in the draft. Williams, who left with one year of eligibility remaining, was more of a long shot to be selected after he didn't put up eye-opening numbers at the NFL combine.

It's the first time Kentucky hasn't had a player selected in the Mark Stoops era. The last time the Wildcats didn't have a draftee was in 2007.
