RECRUITING: In-depth analysis of Jarren Williams' recruitment. CatsIllustrated.com takes an in-depth look at where things stand with 2018 UK quarterback commitment Jarren Williams, the dynamics of his recruitment, and why we're making the prediction we've made. You'll get an extensive look at the quarterback situations at all the schools pushing for a flip and our take on how Williams is going about his business as an extremely popular recruit (premium).
RECRUITING: Basketball Insider Notes. It was a special Thursday edition of CatsIllustrated.com's most popular hoops recruiting feature with T.J. Walker spelling out Kentucky's path to arguably John Calipari's best class yet in 2018 (premium).
RECRUITING: UK's pitch to Immanuel Quickley remains the same. CatsIllustrated.com touched base with the Executive Director of the five-star 2018 guard's AAU team for the latest (premium).
RECRUITING: Five-star guard Javonte Smart had a good meeting with Calipari. The 2018 star tells CatsIllustrated.com that Kentucky's coach had some words of encouragement when he stopped by Louisiana.
RECRUITING: Tony Amerson is a running back Kentucky fans should remember. The 2019 Alabama prospect paid attention when the Tide's Jonathan Allen praised the Cats' physicality. From Rivals.com's Chad Simmons.
BASKETBALL: Would Kentucky's 2017-18 team be better off with a sophomore Bam Adebayo or a freshman Mo Bamba? Obviously fans would love to see both stud bigs patrolling the paint in Rupp next year, but in this hypothetical either/or the CatsIllustrated.com staff debates which player would mean more to the Cats.

"Bamba because of his intangibles. Can't coach or teach his size and length. Imagine KP working with Bamba all year. All I see is an unstoppable jump hook because he's so damn long.
"I'll admit it's close though. The one thing I absolutely love about Bam is how he just plays. Doesn't complain/whine about not getting the ball and doesn't let that affect his effort."

"Bam. He will average 20/8/1 if he comes back where at the very best Bamba will average 13/9/3 . Bam would twice the offensive player and almost as good of a rebounder but Bamba is twice the defensive player. We have a defensive force already in Richards we need offense."

"A better Archie Goodwin is a good comparison. Diallo has a lot more talent around him so he shouldn't have to try and do everything himself on offense which is big."

"The slashing SF we've wished for since MKG at the 2G. Not the pure scorer Monk was, but stronger and a human highlight reel. Not a knock down deep shooter, but I believe he'll be good enough to keep the defense honest. I think there's a very good chance he's a big defensive improvement over Malik as well."

"The '18 class is going to be absolutely loaded at the top. Bagley, Williamson, Reddish, Langford, Jordan Brown and Barrett could all make cases to be the number one players in many other classes."
