After cruising to a 47-6 win over Independence last week, Jaylin Bannerman and Pickerington (Ohio) Central look to extend its winning streak to two games as it faces Withrow Friday night.

Ja'Quize Cross helped New Market (Ala.) Buckhorn take down Hazel Green last week to start off 3-0. This week the Bucks travel to Huntsville (Ala.), who is 2-1 this season.

Kash Daniel furthered his case for Mr. Football last week after leading Paintsville to a 23-22 thrilling win over rival Pikeville. Daniel passed for a touchdown and rushed for a touchdown and also scored the game winning two-point conversion. The senior leader also had 22 tackles on defense. Paintsville will host Clintwood, Va., next weekend.

Sylvania Northview (Ohio) and Luke Fortner pulled off a narrow 20-16 victory over Clay High School last Friday. The 2-0 Wildcats host Bowsher this week.

Tobias Gilliam helped Wayne (Ohio) to a 24-22 win over traditional power Moeller (Ohio) on ESPNU Sunday afternoon. Wayne will play Lakota West in its next game, the school that is home to current Kentucky players Mikel Horton and George Asafo-Adjei.

Jonesboro, Ga., and Jordan Griffin look to stay undefeated next week against Eagle's Landing. The Cardinals defeated Westover 27-7 last week.

Gunnar Hoak and Coffman crushed Dublin Scioto last week 52-0. The Rocks take their 2-0 record to Fairfield next weekend.

After taking down Thomas Worthington 41-14 last week, Worthington Kilbourne and Dakota Holtzclaw hosts Hamilton Township.

James Hudson and Michael Warren are still searching for their first win after Central Catholic (Ohio) lost 20-16 to Bishop Hartley last week. The Fighting Irish host Lancaster (N.Y.) this week.

Paducah (Ky.) McCracken County and Zy'Aire Hughes host 2A power Mayfield this week after taking down North Hopkins 54-14 a week ago.

Four-star center Drake Jackson and Woodford County were unable to slow down Frankfort (Ky.) Franklin County last week as they were defeated 56-35. The Yellow Jackets look to bounce back this week when they travel to Marion County.

Punter Grant McKinniss and Findlay hope to improve to 3-0 next week when they host Southview.

Springboro tight end Justin Rigg picked up a big win 50-49 win over Centerville on Saturday. They look to improve to 3-1 this Friday against Franklin (Ohio).

Davonte Robinson and Lexington (Ky.) Henry Clay took down George Rogers Clark 35-13 last week. The Blue Devils will play inner-city rival Tates Creek next week.

Asim Rose, the No. 25 running back in the nation, couldn't get anything going last week as Garfield Heights were shutout 42-0 by Brecksville-Broadview Heights. They look to turn things around this Friday night against Mayfield.

Lawrenceville (Ga.) Archer and Kobe Smith tough schedule continues this week as they travel to take on Grayson. Archer is 2-0 this season after easily defeating Peachtree Ridge and North Paulding.

Benny Snell has helped Westerville Central hold on to win two close games to start its season. The Warhawks took down Lincoln in overtime 28-21 to win their first game and held on to beat New Albany 37-34 last week. Westerville Central will take on winless Olentangy Orange this week.

Powerhouse Trotwood Madison looks to run its winning streak to three games this week as it travels to Sycamore. Roland Walder helped the Rams defense shutout Thurgood Marshall last week.

Woodberry Forest (Va.) easily handled Jamar Watson and Bishop McNamara on Friday night as they won 37-18. The Mustangs look to bounce back this week against Liberty Christian.

Class of 2017 receiver Russ Yeast helped Fremont (Ohio) Ross to its first victory of the season over Southview last weekend. The Little Giants will take on Sandusky this weekend.

Rivals100 offensive lineman Landon Young and Jedrick Wills had started the season with two blowout wins, but the Generals were demolished by Louisville (Ky.) Trinity 70-14 last weekend. Lafayette looks to bounce back against Boone County this week.
