Tiawan Mullen released his list of six favorites this week and Kentucky is very much in play.
The Class of 2019 defensive back is the younger brother of Clemson player Trayvon Mullen.
Mullen, a 5-foot-10, 155-pound defensive back from Coconut Creek, Fla., announced this week that his favorites in "no order" are Louisville, Mississippi State, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan State and Oregon.
Five of those schools have offered. Oregon has not, but Mullen said he is very interested in the Ducks nonetheless.
Mullen is ranked the No. 38 cornerback in the nation by Rivals.com, making him a three-star (5.6 RR) prospect.
Kentucky already has one commitment from a 2019 prospect and that's also a defensive back: Keontra Smith of Hollywood (Fla.) Chaminade Madonna.
The Wildcats offered Mullen very early this year when he was still a sophomore in high school. As of February, he told Cats Illustrated that he had not heard from Kentucky. But as of just a few days ago Kentucky's staff was sending Mullen recruiting graphics indicating their interest is legitimate.
