Just type in any text after the code.... use <*/br> without the asterisk before you type so your text will start under your pic

You must use a webaddress. There are free easy to use image hosting site around like photobucket.com

You can't. You will have to upload it to the internet.

Skipper it looks like your trying to insert a webpage instead of a pic. You can only put a webpage in as a link. If you are looking at a particular picture on that webpage right click on it and select properties. There you can see the address for that particular photo. You can try it out by right clicking on my photo and selecting properties and it will show you where my photo is located. That it what you need to do on whatever picture you want to use. A picture file generally ends in of the following formats .jpg .gif .jpeg .tga .png

after the url of the picture you use, insert height="*" width="*", replacing '*' with numbers. To keep the size of the picture in proportion of height/width, just use one or the other (either height="*" or width="*").
For example (remove '*'s and include the web address of the appropriate pic rather than the 'http://www.photobucket.com/example.gif')

<*img src="http://www.photobucket.com/example.gif" height="300" *>caption of pic goes here <*/img*>

Can you tell me why this sig only works sometimes?

On about 30% of my posts my sig will say "Bandwidth exceeded"... why?

Remember, you're burning bandwidth from somewhere no matter. I would limit the size to 400x400 on the sig pics at most. Think about making them the lowest possible size with the best resolution...use jpg not gif also.

If you tag them smaller and do not change the actual image size you are still using the same bandwidth.
