Skal Labissiere continued to make big contributions for the Sacramento Kings with 11 points, seven rebounds and four blocks. He got the start for the Kings, who defeated the Magic at home.
Rookie guard Jamal Murray of the Nuggets scored 22 points in helping Denver defeat the Lakers.
John Wall continued racking up points and assists for the Wizards, but they fell to Karl-Anthony Towns and the Minnesota Timberwolves on Monday night. Towns, snubbed as an All-Star Game omission, was the star of the game.
Rajon Rondo scored 20, grabbed seven boards and tallied six assists for the Bulls against the Hornets with Chicago emerging victorious in Charlotte. Michael Kidd-Gilchrist scored 22 points in that game.
