GARDEN GROVE, Calif. - Nerlens Noel is finally ready to arrive at the University of Kentucky.

Noel, the 6-10 New England center ranked as the nation's No. 2 prospect in the 2012 class, told Rivals.com on Friday at the adidas Nations basketball camp that he is cleared academically and will be at UK on Aug. 19, which is three days before the start of the fall semester.
Noel has been back home finishing coursework after reclassifying this spring from the 2013 class to 2012.
He is a college counselor at this week's camp for top high school players in the United States and internationally. Kentucky sophomore Kyle Wiltjer and freshman Willie Cauley-Stein are other counselors.
