Video: Five-star Poythress eager to visit final 5
CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. - CatsIllustrated.com visited five-star power forward and Kentucky recruiting target Alex Poythress at his school, Northeast High School, on Sept. 1.
In our video interview, he explains what it's been like for him to become of the nation's most sought-after college prospects.

Poythress also says he doesn't know when he'll commit to a college, but he's narrowed his list to Vanderbilt, Florida, Kentucky, Memphis and Duke with official visits planned for them all.
Poythress, who received a UK scholarship offer in July, unofficially visited UK last month and is scheduled to be back in Lexington for an official visit to Big Blue Madness in mid-October.
He'll also visit Vanderbilt this weekend, Florida on Sept. 30 and Memphis on Oct. 21. His Duke visit hasn't been scheduled yet.
He claims no favorite among his final five, and in our video interview explains why each school made his final list.
Asked more specifically about the Wildcats, he discusses what he's heard from John Calipari and what more he's hoping to learn about the program during his upcoming visit.
"I like the city. The campus is nice," he said. "I want to see how big the fan base really is, see how crazy the fans really are."
