USA U19: Washington and Diallo make final cut

USA U19 head coach John Calipari has his team that will make the trip over to Cairo, Egypt for the 2017 FIBA World Cup.

Kentucky freshmen P.J. Washington and Hamidou Diallo both made the final roster of 12 players and a slew of 2018 UK recruits also made the cut. Romeo Langford, Immanuel Quickley and Cameron Reddish all made the cut and hold offers from Kentucky.

In a surprising move, 2018 UK target Bol Bol did not make the final roster. Bol is ranked as one of the top players in the class of 2018 and picked up an offer from Kentucky in the spring.

Bol has been quoted as saying UK was the school he wanted to play for when he was growing up, but there's no indication as to why he was left off the final roster.
