UK offers a 13-year old who isn't your typical 13-year old

On Friday, Kentucky extended a verbal offer to a very young football player.

That's nothing new. For years now coaches have been pushing the boundary of what's acceptable when it comes to youth and offers.

What makes Kentucky's offer to Kiyaunta Goodin a story, in part, is the fact that he's 13 years old. He attends Olmsted Academy North in Louisville, and yes, that's a middle school.

But this is a story, and an incredible one, because Goodin is already 6-foot-6 and more than 345 pounds.

As you can see in the picture above, he just doesn't look like a 13 year old.

Now you can prepare yourself to read about Goodin for the next several years, perhaps as a lot more schools learn about him.

Goodin projects as an offensive tackle at least for the foreseeable future.
