The draft will take place on June 12, meaning UK’s season could be ongoing. The Wildcats play N.C. State in the Lexington Regional final at 7 p.m. Monday night. With a victory, UK would play Louisville in a super regional this weekend. The winner of the best of three series moves onto the College World Series in Omaha, Neb.

Catsillustrated.com will take a closer look at the signees later on in the week, but sources have indicated that UK feels confident in most of its class enrolling at school rather than signing professional deals.

High school righthanders Brad Dobzanski, Aaron Perry and Ben Jordan have long been considered the top arms in UK’s class. Dobzanski told Catsillustrated.com that it would take “a pretty large number” from an MLB team for him to break his UK commitment. Jordan had Tommy John Surgery in April, meaning it’s likely he’ll end up in Lexington.

All three of those players made Baseball America’s list, but the highest ranked commit was junior college RHP Zach Haake. Haake pitched at Arkansas State his freshman season before transferring to junior college. He was 8-1 with a 2.52 ERA in 13 starts this season.

Other commitment rankings:

No. 151 - RHP Zach Haake

No. 232 - RHP Brad Dobzanski

No. 402 - RHP Ben Jordan

No. 439 - RHP Aaron Perry

No. 446 - INF Kaden Polcovich

No. 487 - RHP Austin Marozas
