It wasn't a good night for UK baseball coach Nick Mingione. The Wildcats, who handed Florida a punishing 12-4 defeat on Thursday night, were the ones taking a beat down on Friday. The Gators defeated UK 14-3, but Mingione wasn't around to see most of it.

With the Wildcats down 7-0 in the 5th inning, Mingione went to discuss a play where centerfielder Marcus Carson was called back to the plate after attempting to go to first on a hit by pitch. Replays showed that Carson wasn't hit by the ball. This is what happened from there.

It was Mingione's first career ejection. The loss puts UK a game behind Florida and LSU in the SEC race. The rubber match between the two teams will decide the SEC East winner. LSU clinched the SEC West with a win over Mississippi State. LSU can win the conference with a win against Mississippi State and a Florida loss.
