McDonough (Ga.) Ola running back Chris Rodriguez will be visiting Kentucky this weekend, as RebelGrove.com's Russell Johnson first reported.

CatsIllustrated.com has since confirmed the report with Rodriguez himself. He has not said much about the upcoming trip.

The 6-foot, 200-pound back recently landed an offer from Ole Miss but that situation is precarious with Hugh Freeze's firing. Rodriguez also has an offer from Mississippi State.

The last development in UK's search for a running back was Indiana running back and former Hoosier commit Kristian Pechac camping in Lexington. The Cats had verbally offered Pechac earlier in the process but following the camp they haven't gone "all in" with Pechac as their primary guy.
