Allen is ranked the No. 29 prospect in the talent-rich state of New Jersey. He replaces Tyrone Riley on Kentucky's commitment list. Riley flipped his commitment to NC State yesterday.
The commitment was first reported by Allen's high school coach on Twitter.
So proud of and happy for Josh Allen. University of Kentucky is getting a great one. #mountieup— John Fiore (@HFC_JohnFiore) January 30, 2015
Allen transferred to his New Jersey high school from Alabama before his senior season.
