A big recruiting day for Kentucky extended into Tuesday evening when the Wildcats picked up a commitment from Tennessee punter/kicker Landon Foster.

Foster, a 6-foot-2, 180-pound player for Independence High School in Franklin, Tenn., said in a text message to CatsIllustrated.com that he committed UK because it "felt like home."
He is the Cats' third commitment of the day, joining Jeffersontown, Ky., defensive end Daniel Ross and Myrtle Beach, S.C. offensive lineman T.J. Jones.
Foster also had offers from Vanderbilt, Tennessee and Western Kentucky.
UK will lose senior starting punter Ryan Tydlacka after this season, so Foster figures to have a good shot to contribute right away.
UK now has 16 commitments for the 2012 class.
