Kenih Lovely is a 5-foot-10 cornerback from Palm Beach Gardens (Fla.) Dwyer's Class of 2018, and he's close friends with Cedrick Dort, a 2017 defensive back also from South Florida. Both players will be making the trip to Lexington for this weekend's camp.

Lovely already has offers from Iowa State, Minnesota, NC State, Rutgers, USF and Syracuse, among others, and he'd like to add an offer from the Wildcats.

"Yeah, I'll be coming up," Lovely said. "I got to know (the Kentucky staff) when I first saw them at a spring practice. That's when they started showing interest. Then I went to the FAU camp (a satellite camp for UK) and ever since then I've just told them I would come up there.

"I talked to Coach (Mark) Stoops and he just told me he wants me to come up. He would like to see what I can do at that camp," Lovely added.

"I kinda liked the DB coach. Kentucky's DB's coach (Steven Clinkscale), he's pretty cool. He had a good little connection with me. He kind of had an up tempo (style) and he was excited about everything. I made a couple of plays and he was always really excited about it."

Lovely said he is "very close" with Dort, who is a year older than him. Dort will also attend Kentucky's camp this weekend.

The two players visited Iowa State together in the last couple of weeks.
