Washington (D.C.) H.D. Woodson cornerback Vincent Flythe announced a list of six favorites late Tuesday.
Kentucky offered the 6-foot-1, 175-pound Class of 2018 defensive back earlier this year and the Cats are one of the five schools still standing.
Flythe's list of favorites does not seem to be in any particular order. The remaining contenders, as included in a social media graphic Flythe tweeted on Tuesday (see above), are Wisconsin, Louisville, Temple, Maryland, Kentucky and Georgia.
As CatsIllustrated.com had reported two weeks ago, Flythe was part of a very long list of players, mostly from the 'DMV,' who visited Kentucky on June 16th, just after the first portion of the football program's camp schedule.
The inclusion of Kentucky may well be a positive indication that the trip to Lexington went well.
Flythe has offers from all six of the schools that made Tuesday's cut. Georgia was the most recent of those six programs to offer.
Steven Clinkscale handles most of Kentucky's recruiting efforts in that DMV region and he is Flythe's lead recruiter but also his would-be position coach if the three-star defensive back picks the Cats.
