SIGNING DAY PREVIEW: Offensive tackle Sebastien Dolcine

In our new Signing Day Preview series we'll profile every single one of Kentucky's 2017 early enrollees as well as those who won't be signing until Wednesday.
STATUS: Will sign on Wednesday and enroll in June.
RESUME: Dolcine was an 8A-6A second team all-state selection for Miramar, Fla., and he won that award listed as a guard. Miramar finished the season 8-3.
RECRUITING HISTORY: Dolcine was committed to Central Florida before he flipped his pledge to Kentucky. Eddie Gran took an interest in Dolcine long before the flip occurred. Apparently Gran was enamored with what he had seen from Dolcine, and perhaps heard of him, but initially he wanted him to visit Lexington to make sure he had the length to play tackle in college, given the need at the position in the 2017 class. But Kentucky offered Dolcine before he ever took his official visit.
SCOUTING REPORT: Dolcine plays violently with his hands and that's one of his best attributes. He has good explosion off the ball, has the makings of a good kick slide and should have the kind of footwork that allows him to excel in pass protection. One of the bigger questions about Dolcine is whether he will develop the strength to become an asset paving holes for the ground game.
CATS ILLUSTRATED PROJECTION: Dolcine needs to continue to transform his body, turning bad weight good and adding mass, and he does have to answer the question about his run blocking ability, as well as whether tackle is the best spot for him. But it's easy to fall in love with his potential in pass sets and for that reason he could be a down-the-road option as a contributor.
