Shocky Jacques-Louis commits to Kentucky

Kentucky landed yet another football commitment on Friday when three-star receiver Shocky Jacques-Louis pledged his future to the Cats.

It's a big addition for Kentucky, as Jacques-Louis is one of the top athletes in the Sunshine State.

Jacques-Louis' commitment doesn't exactly come as a surprise. He has long had the Wildcats at the top of his list.

The 6-foot, 170-pound prospect from Fort Myers (Fla.) Dunbar may be best classified as an athlete but it seems more likely than not that he'll be a wide receiver at the college level, barring comments to the contrary.

Jacques-Louis told CatsIllustrated.com as recently as April 7th that Kentucky was his No. 1 school. He visited UK earlier this year for one of the program's two junior days.

Darin Hinshaw was the lead recruiter from Kentucky who spearheaded the commitment drive.

Jacques-Louis is the seventh commitment for Kentucky from the 2018 class. His commitment comes just days after fellow Florida receiver Cadarius Gaskin's.
