Along with the words 'Lucky Seven,' Bentley attached the logos of seven schools: Louisville, Kentucky, Tennessee, Wisconsin, West Virginia, Minnesota and Indiana.

In recent years Lakota West has sent plenty of players to Kentucky. Offensive tackle Kyle Meadows, running back Mikel Horton, wide receiver Kayaune Ross and offensive guard George Asafo-Adjei all attended the school.

Bentley isn't Kentucky's only target from Lakota West's 2018 class. The Cats are also in hot pursuit of stud linebacker Xavier Peters, who along with Bentley visited Kentucky not long ago.

Cats Illustrated reached out to Bentley shortly after his tweet and he said Kentucky made his top seven for a couple of reasons.

"They have shown me the most interest," Bentley said. "I have a great relationship with coaches and players."

At one point Bentley was planning to make a summer decision, although he left open the possibility of moving his choice up to this spring. However, when he landed offers from Tennessee and others and his stock really started to take off he told Cats Illustrated that he'll wait until everything dies down before he reevaluates a timetable.
