Rivals100 OT Kiyaunta Goodwin announcing soon

Kiyaunta Goodwin is the biggest football recruit on Kentucky's board, both figuratively and literally.

The 6'8, 305-pound offensive lineman who now resides in Charlestown, Ind., but is from Kentucky has lost 100 pounds and cemented his elite status over the last year, even during these unconventional times.

Now Goodwin appears ready to make his college choice.

Late Wednesday the Rivals100 offensive tackle listed again a top five of Kentucky, Ohio State, Michigan State, Clemson, and Alabama. More noteworthy, Goodwin announced that he will be making his choice known on April 17.

Five of Rivals' seven FutureCast predictions on Goodwin are in favor of Kentucky including the last five.

Goodwin is ranked the No. 3 player in Indiana. He's also ranked the No. 8 offensive tackle in the nation.

Earlier this year Goodwin told Rivals.com that Alabama, Ohio State, Clemson, Georgia, LSU, Kentucky, Louisville, Miami, and Florida State coaches were all telling him that he was the No. 1 tackle prospect on their respective recruiting boards.

Vince Marrow has led the way in Kentucky recruiting Goodwin over these last several years for the 'Cats, dating back to even before he was a high schooler.
