Rivals100 ATH Blue Smith releases top ten

Rivals100 athlete L'Christian "Blue" Smith of Huber Heights (Ohio) Wayne released his top ten list Thursday night on Twitter.

The nation's top-ranked athlete included Kentucky.

Hours earlier on the same day Smith had told someone, perhaps jokingly, that if his tweet which included a Twitter direction message conversation reached 5,000 retweets then he would pick Kentucky.

The tweet far exceeded the 5,000 retweets, but there was no commitment.

Still, there was some good news for Kentucky with Smith on the day.

The nation's No. 29 prospect released his initial list of ten favorites.

In no order Smith's top ten is: Ohio State, Minnesota, Penn State, Tennessee, Alabama, Michigan, Notre Dame, Kentucky, Cincinnati and Michigan State. All have offered.

Smith was careful to point out that his list could change.

The four-star prospect has visited UK multiple times, most recently with teammate and friend Alex Reigelsperger, a defensive end who is committed to Kentucky and who has become the most energetic recruiter on the Cats' pledge list.
