Rigg attended Kentucky-Tennessee game

Three-star tight end Justin Rigg, a Kentucky commitment, was in Lexington on Saturday night for the Cats-Vols game.
The 6-foot-6, 240-pound tight end has never wavered since committing to the Wildcats much earlier this year. He's expected to be a big part of the offense in Lexington largely because he's advanced and skilled as a physical blocking presence.
His role in Springboro's offense has changed this year a bit.
PREMIUM: We're checking in with all Kentucky commitments and targets to see how they feel about the Cats.
"I would say I still block a lot but I'm more split out this year. Sometimes I go out far wide to play receiver. I play slot. I play off the ball in the backfield," Rigg said.
Vince Marrow and the UK coaches are surely happy to see Rigg proving that he can be more of a pass catcher than he was previously known to be. That makes him more versatile and a better fit in the offense.
When Rigg was in Lexington over the weekend he had an opportunity to speak with the coaches.
"I talked to Coach Marrow and then Coach (Shannon) Dawson and I also talked to Coach (Mark) Stoops a little bit," Rigg said. "From the first time I've gone down there it's been exactly the same. It's a great atmosphere. It's a great feeling, especially when I went down onto the field. The coaches were asking how my season's going and talking about the game there. They were asking me if I was ready for it. It was a good time."
Although Tennessee had their way with the Cats, Rigg said he didn't think the game was indicative of what Kentucky's capable of.
"I thought overall in the first half they looked good. Tennessee's a great team. They had some really good players," Rigg said. "During the first half I thought they played well. There are three things you have to do in order to win the game. Offense, defense and special teams. They definitely didn't win special teams because of all the touchdowns Tennessee scored there."
Rigg said that he's "definitely" solid with Kentucky and he's not in contact with other schools.
He will not be an early enrollee.
