REPORT: Adebayo to hire an agent

FanRag Sports' Jon Rothstein is reporting that UK freshman Bam Adebayo has signed with an agent.

Weeks ago Adebayo announced he would test the NBA Draft waters without signing an agent, leaving the door open for a return to college, but Rothstein's report would eliminate a return to Kentucky.

Adebayo averaged 13 points and eight rebounds during his one season at Kentucky. If he has signed with an agent he joins De'Aaron Fox, Malik Monk, Isaiah Briscoe and Isaac Humphries as UK players that have signed with agents.

UK's Hamidou Diallo has also declared for the draft but hasn't signed with an agent at this point.

Players have until May 24th to take their name out of the NBA Draft, but once a player has signed with an agent they aren't eligible for college athletics.

UK Athletics hasn't confirmed Rothstein's report.
