P.J. to KY: UK commit set to play in the Bluegrass

Kentucky fans won't have to wait until November to see P.J. Washington play in the state. Over the weekend Washington's Findlay Prep will participate in the first-ever Kentucky Lake Showcase.

Washington will play a game Friday and Saturday at Marshall County High School.

Washington's Findlay Prep, coached by his dad Paul Washington, will take on Hopkinsville on Friday at 7:30 p.m. CT and Tennessee Prep at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday.

The Kentucky Lake Showcase was created by the organizers that put together Marshall County Hoop Fest and for any basketball fans that have been to the Marshall County Hoop Fest you know that Washington won't be the only star on display.

DeAndre Ayton (Arizona), Gary Trent Jr. (Duke) and Paul Scruggs (Xavier) will also play over the weekend, with the event lasting until Sunday.

Marshall County is expecting a big crowd for Washington's games over the weekend. The UK commit is averaging close to 20 points, 10 rebounds and five assists per game.
