GREEN PREVIEW
Cats Illustrated is previewing every scholarship player on Kentucky's 2017-2018 basketball roster.
Part seven of the series is on point guard Quade Green. The 6-foot, 165-pound Philly native was one of UK's top guard targets in the class of 2018 and is in next in line when it comes to running John Calipari's offense.
Does Green have what it takes to lead Kentucky to the Final Four?
GARNER, BROWN BREAKDOWN

MISSING MOSIER
Kentucky’s offensive linemen not only lost a starter when Cole Mosier went down with a season-ending knee injury Saturday, but they also lost a friend.
“He is a solid player and very good role model for me. Losing him during his last season is really hard,” said sophomore Landon Young, the player expected to now be UK’s starting left tackle. He actually had more snaps at left tackle than Mosier last year because Mosier missed some games with injuries.
LOCAL TALENT
The high school football season starts Friday night, and fields all over the commonwealth will feature top college prospects this fall.
Kentucky’s senior class is already filled with players who have committed to power-five programs, and the younger classes contain even more talent, including six in-state players ranked nationally by ESPN in the 2019 class alone.
