Nephew of former Louisville lineman lists UK among favorites

Offers, college coaches visiting high schools, late spring commitments and ... players releasing lists of favorites.

Dejmi Dumervil Jean is one of the latest prospects to trim his list, and Kentucky's still on it.

On Friday, Dumervil Jean announced via Twitter that his favorites are, in no particular order, Louisville, Oregon, Michigan State, Kentucky, South Carolina, Illinois, Mississippi State, Rutgers, Maryland and Syracuse.

Dumervil Jean also announced that he's still open to other schools that might try to recruit him, so that list is subject to change.

On Friday, four-star linebacker Ayodele Adeoye of Missouri also released a list of ten favorites that includes Kentucky.

The massive 6-foot-5, 350-pound prospect attends prep powerhouse and football factory St. Thomas Aquinas in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and he claims verbal offers from all of the schools that made his list of favorites.

While Kentucky is still in play, the Cats might have an uphill climb. Speculation has it that Louisville is in a strong position with Dumervil Jean.

Dumervil Jean's nephew is former Cardinal Elvis Dumervil.
