Nations top center meets with UKs Tubby Smith
The mother of James Lang, the No. 1-ranked center by Rivals.com, says the recruitment of her son is far from over despite an announcement in early August by the 6-foot-10, 335-pounder that he would attend Louisville.
Wanda Harris told The Courier-Journal that, in fact, she met with Kentucky coach Tubby Smith on Tuesday night at her home in Mobile, Ala. She said her son would meet with UK’s coach Wednesday at his school in Birmingham.

"James is not committed to anyone," Harris told the C-J. "No one has been crossed off the list."
The confusion is apparently caused by Lang, citing that he was tired of the recruiting calls, making the announcement for Louisville on Aug. 8. Harris said that final decision will be made by the family.
Harris told The Courier-Journal that calls from college coaches continued after his commitment to Louisville.
"I had made it clear to all the coaches that everything with James' recruitment came through me and my husband," Harris told the newspaper. "Those other schools knew that the commitment did not come from me, so the calls and the letters never stopped coming."
Kentucky, Louisville, Alabama, Alabama-Birmingham and Georgetown had meetings scheduled this week with Lang and his mother. He planned to have official visits knocked out by the end of October.
