Preview Podcast: Publisher Brett Dawson and staff writers T.J. Walker and Alex Forkner break down their expectations of Tyler Ulis.
Rewind: Splitting time with Andrew Harrison at point guard, Ulis averaged 5.6 points and 3.6 assists in 23.8 minutes per game. He shot a team-high 42.9 percent from three-point range and finished third nationally in assist-to-turnover ratio. Ulis had 17 assists and four turnovers in six NCAA Tournament games.
Fast Forward: With Harrison off to the NBA, Ulis should take over as Kentucky's floor general, though he'll still share the ball with two other point guards in Isaiah Briscoe and Jamal Murray. All three could start, but Ulis figures to be the main man running the offense.
