Knox announced his decision via Twitter at 7:40 p.m. EST.
The nation's No. 9 prospect had narrowed his list to Kentucky, Missouri, Duke, North Carolina and Florida State.
He joins a recruiting class that also includes Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Quade Green, Jarred Vanderbilt, P.J. Washington, Jemarl Baker and Nick Richards.
