The No. 51 player in the class of 2016 is surely to get a bump in the rankings after a phenomenal summer.
Killeya-Jones, originally from Chapel Hill, N.C., currently lives in Lynchburg, Va., and picked UK over his former hometown North Carolina, Virginia and Kansas.
Earlier in the summer Killeya-Jones unofficially visited Kentucky. Back in June he spoke about the Cats.
"It's exciting," Killeya-Jones said. "It was a great visit with Coach Calipari. He's great. His whole staff is excellent. I enjoyed the whole visit with my family. Got to tour all the facilities, got to go on the campus. Talked to some of the players, talked to Skal (Labissiere) a lot. And I just enjoyed the whole visit."
T.J. Analysis: Killeya-Jones is a typical Calipari player that is versatile, long and athletic. He will be able to guard multiple positions and play "position less" basketball.
At 6-foot-10, 210-pounds, Killeya-Jones will likely add muscle, but if he's already shown an ability to score from virtually anywhere inside the three point line.
He had one of the highest scoring games at the NBPA Top 100 Camp back in June, scoring 27 points in a game.
An underrated part of Killeya-Jones' game is his ability to put it on the floor and get where he wants on the court. He also is solid at posting up on the block and finding different ways to maneuver and find the easiest way to score.
While his strength is on the offensive end of the floor, he's no slouch on defense. Killeya-Jones will obviously improve defensively under Calipari but his length already makes him a shot blocking threat.
Killeya-Jones joins Tai Wynyard in the class of 2016, although there's a chance Wynyard will enroll in December.
