Lexington Catholic cornerback Jake Carney has committed to Notre Dame according to Lexington Catholic head coach Bob Sphire.

The 5-11, 180, 4.4 Carney picked the Irish after a campus visit there last weekend. Carney picked Notre Dame over Stanford, Michigan, Purdue, Tennessee, and Kentucky.

Jake had 45 tackles as a junior and has reportedly been timed as low as 4.3 in the 40, and has been measured at 37 inches in the vertical.
