According to a source with knowledge of the situation we can say with confidence that Peters has not decommitted from Kentucky. In fact, as of right now it seems unlikely that he will.

Yesterday CatsIllustrated.com reported that one of Peters' family members had wanted him to take a step back from recruiting because they wanted to be more a part of the process, and to make sure everyone is on the same page regarding Peters' future.

A source told CatsIllustrated.com that the family member harbors no ill-will towards Kentucky and "getting on the same page" doesn't refer to anything Kentucky needs to do to mend fences.

The fact that Peters removed the Twitter graphic and announcement of his commitment should not be taken to mean that he is no longer committed to Kentucky, our sources say, but rather is representative of the Peters' family simply stepping back from the pressures of the recruiting process to find some time for themselves to sort through everything.

Sources continue to maintain that Peters is still likely to sign with Kentucky.
