Immanuel Quickley down to three
Five-star point guard Immanuel Quickley is down to three schools and not surprisingly the Cats are still in play.
Most pundits, including Cats Illustrated's T.J. Walker, consider Kentucky the heavy favorite to land Quickley. In fact, of all the players from the Class of 2018 it seems like Quickley is the safest bet to land with the Cats.
But on Friday night Quickley made no definitive announcement regarding his future. Instead, he tweeted that he has scheduled official visits to three schools.
Quickley will visit Kansas (9/1), Miami (9/8) and Kentucky (9/15).
Rivals.com's Corey Evans debated fellow network analyst Eric Bossi this week, arguing that Kentucky will make the most noise out of any school in the signing period when November rolls around. If that comes to fruition it's hard to believe Quickley wouldn't be a big part of the reason for that.
