Cats Illustrated hinted that JUCO defensive lineman Phil Hoskins might be closing in on a decision this weekend.

Sure enough, he popped for the Cats.

The 6-foot-5, 280-pound defensive lineman from Highlands C.C. in Kansas is originally from Toledo (Ohio), and he's viewed as an immediate impact kind of player for the Wildcats. He's a Class of 2017 recruit who will have three years to play two once he arrives at Kentucky.

On Friday, Cats Illustrated reported that sources were saying that Hoskins could be ready to make a decision.

He posted the following message following his commitment on Saturday.
